Jackson Leach of West Salem voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week

Leach received 69.16% of the vote, beating out Pleasant Hill’s Gavin Inglish, who finished second with 30.34%

Congratulations to West Salem’s Jackson Leach for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 18-24. 

Leach, a senior guard on the West Salem team, had a double-double for the Titans with 17 points and 12 assists in their 61-60 win over Lake Oswego in the consolation championship game at the Capitol City Classic at Willamette University.

Leach received 69.16% of the vote, beating out Gavin Inglish, a junior on the Pleasant Hill team, who finished second with 30.34%. Brody Kuenzi, a junior on the Silverton team, was third with 0.25% and Kade Gjesdal, a senior on the Lakeridge team, was fourth with 0.06%. There were nearly 2,000 votes tallied this week.
