Cade Wynn of Silverton voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week
Congratulations to Silverton’s Cade Wynn for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 11-17.
Wynn, a senior on the Silverton team, had a double-double for the Foxes with 19 points and 10 rebounds in their 57-46 win over Woodburn in a Mid-Willamette Conference opener at Silverton High School.
Wynn received 48.41% of the vote, beating out Jaiden Pickett, a junior on the Putnam team, who finished second with 31.57%. Zach Pippin, a junior on the Valley Catholic team, was third with 13.99% and Evan Heisler, a senior on the Lincoln team, was fourth with 3.82%. There were nearly 6,000 votes tallied this week.
