Morgan Raleigh of Sheldon voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Basketball Athlete of the Week

Raleigh received 59.02% of the vote, beating out Pacific’s Mikala Houck, who finished second with 27.03%

Congratulations to Sheldon’s Morgan Raleigh for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 27-Dec. 3. 

Raleigh, a junior guard on the Sheldon team, had 16 points and four assists to help the Irish post a 62-45 win against Newberg in a first-round game at the Luke Roth Showcase at Sheldon High School.

Raleigh received 59.02% of the vote, beating out Mikala Houck, a senior on the Pacific team, who finished second with 27.03%. Kaylee Mendez, a junior on the McKay team, was third with 6.13% and Hailey Schmidt, a senior on the Pendleton team, was fourth with 2.87%. There more than 10,000 votes tallied this week.
