Jaydon Schregardus of Nelson voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week

Schregardus received 44.91% of the vote, beating out Nelson’s Braylon Gaines, who finished second with 41.62%

Congratulations to Nelson’s Jaydon Schregardus for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Basketball Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 27-Dec. 3. 

Schregardus, a freshman guard on the Nelson team, playing in his first high school game, stepped up with 19 points, eight rebounds and four steals to help the Hawks soar to a 79-54 nonleague victory at Glencoe.

Schregardus received 44.91% of the vote, beating out Braylon Gaines, a freshman on the Nelson team, who finished second with 41.62%. Islam Muzaffarov, a junior on the Century team, was third with 8.68% and Jaxson Spafford, a junior on the Milwaukie team, was fourth with 2.32%. There nearly 17,000 votes tallied this week.
