Kate Ratanaproeksa of Grant voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Athlete of the Week

Ratanaproeksa received 65.02% of the vote, beating out North Marion’s Caile Lader, who finished second with 33.76%

Congratulations to Grant’s Kate Ratanaproeksa for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Athlete of the Week for the Week of Nov. 6-12. 

Ratanaproeksa, a junior forward for the Grant girls soccer team, scored two goals, including the winner in overtime, for the Generals in their 3-2 win over Cleveland in the Class 6A state championship match at Sherwood High School. She had a goal and an assist in a 3-1 semifinal win over Lincoln. 

Ratanaproeksa received 65.02% of the vote, beating out Caile Lader, a senior on the North Marion girls soccer team, who finished second with 33.76%. Chloe Herkert, a junior on the Grant girls soccer team, was third with 0.18% and Bella Bohne, a senior on the Grant girls soccer team, was fourth with 0.16%. There were more than 4,000 votes tallied this week.
