Ashton Moody of Cascade Christian voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Athlete of the Week

Moody received 81.74% of the vote, beating out West Albany’s Jarron Huebner, who finished second with 16.83%

Congratulations to Cascade Christian’s Ashton Moody for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 23-29. 

Moody, a senior quarterback on the Cascade Christian football team, passed for 339 yards and five touchdowns in helping lead the undefeated Challengers to a 41-12 win at South Umpqua in Class 3A Special District 3 play. 

Moody received 81.74% of the vote, beating out Jarron Huebner, a senior on the West Albany team, who finished second with 16.83%. Connor Dye, a senior on the Springfield team, was third with 0.53% and Jayden Fortier, a senior on the Tualatin team, was fourth with 0.29%. There were nearly 6,000 votes tallied this week.
