Wyatt Andler of Wells voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Athlete of the Week

Andler received 50.67% of the vote, beating out Marist Catholic’s Javi Sandoval-Gongora, who finished second with 31%

Congratulations to Wells’ Wyatt Andler for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 16-22. 

Andler, a junior fullback on the Wells football team, ran for 153 yards on 29 carries and scored three touchdowns for the Guardians in their 36-8 win over Roosevelt in a Portland Interscholastic League showdown at Roosevelt High School. 

Andler received 50.67% of the vote, beating out Javi Sandoval-Gongora, a senior on the Marist Catholic boys soccer team, who finished second with 31.00%. Tristan Villanueva, a senior on the Roseburg boys soccer team, was third with 11.07% and Andrew O’Dell, a senior on the West Salem boys soccer team, was fourth with 5.02%. There were nearly 4,000 votes tallied this week.
