A look at the top Oregon 6A football performances during the regular season
The Oregon high school football postseason has arrived, which means it's time to give out my regular season awards.
Offensive lineman of the year: Jake Normoyle, West Linn Lions
There are some good linemen in Oregon this year, including Central Catholic’s Zac Stascausky and West Salem’s Trent Ferguson, an Oregon commit who flashes elite ability despite his new-ness to football.
But West Linn’s offensive line is the state’s best and Jake Normoyle is the best of that bunch.
The 6-foot-4, 290-pound lineman has a little Alex Forsyth in him, and he stands out every Friday night.
Normoyle is a tone-setter and winner.
He checks every box and is a joy to watch.
