Ashton Moody of Cascade Christian voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Athlete of the Week

Moody received 81.73% of the vote, beating out Woodburn's Cruz Veliz, who finished second with 8.28%

Congratulations to Cascade Christian’s Ashton Moody for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 9-15. 

Moody, a senior quarterback on the Cascade Christian football team, completed 19 of 26 passes for 206 yards and three touchdowns while also having a rushing touchdown for the Challengers in a 35-7 home win over Lakeview in a Class 3A Special District 3 game.

Moody received 81.73% of the vote, beating out Cruz Veliz, a junior on the Woodburn football team, who finished second with 8.28%. Diego Flores, a senior on the Silverton football team, was third with 6.34% and Jonah Lasselle, a sophomore on the West Albany boys soccer team, was fourth with 2.18%. There were nearly 4,000 votes tallied this week.
