Kade Long of Banks voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Athlete of the Week

Long received 54.49% of the vote, beating out Yamhill-Carlton’s Kaden Sutton, who finished second with 40.60%

Congratulations to Banks’ Kade Long for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Boys Athlete of the Week for the week of Oct. 2-8. 

Long, a senior quarterback on the Banks football team, completed 12 of 22 passes for 202 yards and rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns to help lead Banks to a 21-14 win at Kennedy in a Class 3A Special District 1 showdown.

Long received 54.49% of the vote, beating out Kaden Sutton, a senior on the Yamhill-Carlton football team, who finished second with 40.60%. Rocco Graziano, a junior on the Sheldon football team, was third with 3.49% and Ken Cook, a senior on the Pendleton boys soccer team, was fourth with 0.39%. There were more than 20,000 votes tallied this week.
