Camryn Johansen of Willamette voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Athlete of the Week

Johansen received 50.35% of the vote, beating out Tualatin’s Kamdyn Ortiz, who finished second with 28.48%

Congratulations to Willamette’s Camryn Johansen for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Athlete of the Week for the Week of Oct. 2-8. 

Johansen, a junior midfielder/forward for the Willamette girls soccer team, scored all three of the Wolverines’ goals in a 3-3 tie against Roseburg in a Southwest Conference game at Roseburg High School.

Johansen received 50.35% of the vote, beating out Kamdyn Ortiz, a sophomore on the Tualatin girls soccer team, who finished second with 28.48%. Gillian Merhoff, a senior on the Mazama volleyball team, was third with 13.47% and Tegan Waters, a junior on the Wilsonville girls soccer team, was fourth with 4.89%. There were nearly 23,000 votes tallied this week.
