Kristina Atonio of North Medford voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Athlete of the Week

Atonio received 35.53% of the vote, beating out Mazama's Isabella Lowe, who finished second with 31.45%

Congratulations to North Medford’s Kristina Atonio for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Athlete of the Week for the Week of Sept. 25-Oct. 1. 

Atonio, a sophomore setter/opposite for the North Medford volleyball team, recorded 11 assists, 11 digs, seven kills and five aces for the Black Tornado in a 25-19, 25-21, 25-18 win at South Eugene in a Southwest Conference match. 

Atonio received 35.53% of the vote, beating out Isabella Lowe, a senior on the Mazama team, who finished second with 31.45%. Addy Cummings, a sophomore on the Ridgeview volleyball team, was third with 13.69% and Savannah Elster, a sophomore on the Ashland volleyball team, was fourth with 9.33%. There were more than 51,000 votes tallied this week.
