Alexia Lowe of Mazama voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Athlete of the Week

Lowe received 35.94% of the vote, beating out Century’s Islee Siliga, who finished second with 28.44%

Congratulations to Mazama’s Alexia Lowe for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Athlete of the Week for the Week of Sept. 11-17. 

Lowe, a senior setter/opposite hitter for the Mazama volleyball team, had 77 assists, 43 digs, 19 kills, 12 aces and five blocks while serving at 96 percent for the week as she helped the Vikings sweep Phoenix in a Skyline Conference opener and get a second-place finish at the 20-team Sisters tournament.

Lowe received 35.94% of the vote, beating out Islee Siliga, a senior on the Century volleyball team, who finished second with 28.44%. Kendal Yazzolino, a freshman on the St. Mary’s of Medford girls soccer team, was third with 11.60% and Ava Elizarraraz, a sophomore on the Tualatin girls soccer team, was fourth with 10.28%. There were more than 30,000 votes tallied this week.
