Mia Sena of St. Mary’s Academy voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Athlete of the Week

Sena received 47.60% of the vote, beating out Canby's Bella Capra, who finished second with 19.18%

Congratulations to St. Mary’s Academy’s Mia Sena for being voted SBLive’s WaFdBank Oregon Girls Athlete of the Week for the Week of Aug. 28-Sept. 3. 

Sena, a junior on the St. Mary’s Academy soccer team, had two goals and an assist for the Blues in their 4-0 season-opening win over South Salem in a nonleague match at Buckman Field. 

Sena received 47.60% of the vote, beating out Bella Capra, a sophomore on the Canby girls soccer team, who finished second with 19.18%. Isabel Doubrava, a junior on the North Marion girls soccer team, was third with 12.11% and Callie Turner, a junior on the Century volleyball team, was fourth with 9.29%. There were more than 23,000 votes tallied this week.
