The Oregon high school football season is scheduled to begin Thursday, Aug. 31 — 43 days from today. As we count down the days until kickoff, SBLive Oregon will give you one significant number per day. 


Career passing touchdowns by Wilsonville’s Jayce Knapp, who helped the Wildcats accumulate the most touchdown passes of any Class 5A or 6A team across the past five seasons.

Knapp threw his first touchdown pass in Week 3 of 2018, his sophomore season. He finished that year with three scoring passes (including one in the OSAA Class 5A playoffs). He added 30 in 2019 and threw for 10 in the spring 2021 season.

In the past five seasons, Wilsonville has passed for 172 touchdowns, 61 more than any other Class 5A school. Central Catholic (163) leads Class 6A schools in the past five seasons.
