Joey Olsen, who has committed to USC, and Baylor Corbin were on the receiving end of Oliver’s touchdown passes.

Jordan connected with Nate Duenas and Ethan Cate on his scoring throws. Konner Grant ran for a Tigers touchdown, passed to Duenas for a score and made an interception on defense.

The host Saxons got a kickoff-return touchdown from Tini Tinitali III as part of their overall special teams advantage in the victory over the Celtics (0-6, 0-4 Central/Southwest Valley Conference) of Keizer.

Leithan Thompson’s touchdown catch put the Pioneers (3-3, 3-1) up 7-0 before the Cavaliers got on the scoreboard with a 38-yard touchdown run by Zachariah Frazier and Nathan Crouchley’s interception return for a touchdown.

Garrett Willenberg scored on a short run to pull the Pioneers even, 14-14, and Torres’ long field goal made it 17-14. Willenberg scored a second touchdown, with 22 seconds left, to seal the win.

The Cavaliers’ Blake Baker, who got hurt at the end of the second quarter and did not return, completed 7 of 10 passes for 63 yards. Frazier picked up 115 yards on 12 carries, and AJ Perez had seven catches for 61 yards.

Reynolds 21, David Douglas 18

The Raiders of Troutdale scored twice in the final four minutes — the second touchdown coming after an onside kick recovery — to complete their comeback from a 12-0 deficit in the win over the host Scots (0-6, 0-4 Mt. Hood Conference) in Southeast Portland.

After the Raiders (4-2, 2-2) took a 21-18 lead with two minutes left, the Scots converted three fourth downs on their possession before the Raiders made an interception to quash the threat.

The Scots’ Caleb Clardy ran for a score, caught a touchdown pass and forced and recovered a fumble to set up one of his touchdowns. Clardy left in the second half with an injury, however, and the Scots felt his absence as the Raiders rallied.

Newberg 28, Liberty 14

Isaac Heveron ran for two touchdowns, Hudson Davis and Gannon Williams each scored on the ground, and the Tigers (4-2, 1-1 Pacific Conference) downed the host Falcons in Hillsboro.

The host Crimson Tide capitalized when given a second chance after an inadvertent whistle on a failed fourth-down play and went on to defeat fellow Hillsboro school Century at Hare Field.

With the Jaguars (2-4, 0-2 Pacific Conference) leading 23-20 with less than two minutes left, the Crimson Tide (2-4, 1-1) apparently fumbled the ball away on fourth down. But an inadvertent whistle gave them another shot, and this time they converted and went on to take the lead on a touchdown run by Trevor O’Leary.

A 45-yard catch by Maliq Smith set up O’Leary’s winning score.

The Jaguars regained possession with 31 seconds left but couldn’t get farther than the Crimson Tide 32-yard line.

Elijah Garcia carried 31 times for 201 yards and a touchdown that put the Jaguars ahead 23-20 with 2:31 left.

Knobloch-Scott connected for two touchdowns with Connor Cesaro and threw for scores to DeAndre Card and AJ Pugliano. Kilohana Wailehua and Jeremiah Robbins had rushing touchdowns for the Black Tornado (4-2, 4-0).

The Olympians blocked two Titans punts before West Salem (0-6, 0-4) clawed back and forged a 21-21 tie. Dontrell Betts scored on the first snap of the third overtime, and JaMarrion Causey intercepted the Cardinals’ fourth-down pass to seal the host Roughriders’ win in North Portland.

Betts exploited the play of linemen Sea and Vai Takau to post a big game on the ground for the Roughriders (3-3, 3-1 Portland Interscholastic League), who got impactful play on both sides of the line of scrimmage from Nywaun Campbell.

Emmett Togni had both a rushing and receiving touchdown for the Cardinals (1-5, 1-3) of Southwest Portland. The play of defensive end Moroni Seely-Roberts prompted the Roughriders to run away from his side, Cardinals coach Matt Caruso said, but he still made multiple tackles for loss.

“Going to three overtimes really tests a team’s resiliency, and I’m extremely proud of our guys,” Caruso said in a text, mentioning that the Cardinals were without key starters on both sides of the ball. “The fight that this team has and the support they give each other is immense. We’ve had back-to-back games come down to the wire, and both times we came up just short. We are poised to finish the season strong as we now have great experience throughout the depth chart, and our missing starters will be healthy for next week.”

Cleveland 16, McDaniel 15

Sean McCormick scored on a pass play of more than 50 yards and Jamel Pinchon scored on a 70-yard run and two conversions for the Warriors (2-4, 1-3 Portland Interscholastic League) of Southeast Portland in the win over the host Mountain Lions (0-6, 0-4) in Northeast Portland.
