Roland boys basketball player Davohn Hall voted SBLive's Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week

Hall helps Rangers repeat as Sequoyah County Area Classic champions

It was a great start to the new year for the Roland boys basketball team, and for one player in particular. 

The Rangers kicked off 2024 by repeating as the champions of the annual Sequoyah County Area Classic, doing so with a 54-40 win against Muldrow in the title game Jan. 6. Sophomore guard Davohn Hall was a main reason behind the Rangers' title triumph, scoring a team-high 17 points and being named to the All-Tournament team.

For his efforts, Hall was voted the SBLive Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week for Jan. 1-7.
