Last week was Christmas break, but there was still plenty of great action taking place on the hardwood, as several teams participated in tournaments. 

There were several marquee matchups and individual performances to showcase below.

Jalen Montonati, Owasso boys basketball

It was an instant classic in a semifinal game against Dale at the Tournament of Champions last week in Tulsa. Montonati scored 40 of Owasso's 70 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Dayton Forsythe, Dale boys basketball

The University of Oklahoma signee was not to be outdone in the semifinal showdown against Owasso. Forsythe finished with 33 points and was 23-of-28 from the free throw line.

Dylan Warlick, Edmond North boys basketball

In the Tournament of Champions championship game against Owasso, Warlick finished with 22 points, eight rebounds and five assists. That effort led his team to victory over Owasso.

Quincy Hopkins, Midwest City Carl Albert boys basketball

In a third-place game that the Titans won over Del City in the Mustang Holiday Classic, it was Hopkins who finished with 20 points, seven steals and five rebounds.

Roman Miller, Mustang boys basketball

Taking part in the Mustang Holiday Classic championship game against Putnam City North, Miller scored 24 points in a decisive 65-31 win for the Broncos. He was also named the tournament's most outstanding player.

Hezekiah Darbon, Southmoore boys basketball

In the consolation championship game of the Mustang Holiday Classic, it was Darbon who went 6-of-8 from shooting distance to score 18 points and lead his team to victory.

Cal Furnish, Crossings Christian boys basketball

In a highly anticipated first-round matchup against Weatherford at the Tournament of Champions, Furnish finished the game with 20 points, along with five rebounds and four assists. That stat line led them to a 15-point win over the Eagles.

CJ Nickson, Weatherford boys basketball

Taking part in the consolation championship game of the Tournament of Champions against Nathan Hale, Nickson scored 20 points and gathered nine rebounds, as the Eagles secured a 59-36 victory.

Kabron Lewis, Tulsa Nathan Hale boys basketball

In a Tournament of Champions consolation bracket game against Metro Christian, Lewis put the team on his back when he needed to most. He finished with 30 points, but with a nip and tuck ball game early in the third quarter, Lewis scored 18 points and Nathan Hale went on to win by 16.

Allison Heathcock, Edmond North girls basketball

The Lady Huskies remain undefeated after cruising to a championship win at the Mustang Holiday Classic. In the championship game win, Heathcock finished with 18 points and nine rebounds. In the three-game tournament, she finished with 70 points, one point shy of the tournament record.

Janiyah Williams, Edmond Memorial girls basketball

In a Tournament of Champions title-game win over Lincoln Christian, Williams finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Kayten Donley, Bethany girls basketball

In the third-place game of the Mustang Holiday Classic, Donley finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds en route to an 85-59 win over Seiling.

Audrey Plunkett, Midwest City Carl Albert girls basketball

The Lady Titans won the Bertha Teague Tournament in Ada thanks in large part to the play of Plunkett, who averaged 11 points a game and five rebounds. They won the championship game, 42-40, against Washington.

Jaylen Cauthron, Idabel girls basketball

Cauthron helped lead her team to a championship win of their host tournament, as the Lady Warriors are now 10-1 on the year.
