Vote: Who should be SBLive's Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week (12/18/2023)?
As we reach the winter break, several local stars are shining and here we look at some of those individual performances that are standing out.

Jalen Montonati, Owasso boys basketball
As one of the top recruits in the state, the sophomore had a phenomenal performance against rival Tulsa Union. He finished with 35 points, six rebounds and three assists in a 13-point win.
Triston Driver, Bixby boys basketball
Driver led his team to a 71-63 win against Choctaw and did a great job running point guard. Driver scored 15 points and had seven assists.
Evan Goodwin, Jenks boys basketball
The Trojans have gotten off to a good start this season, and in a 73-61 win against Muskogee, Goodwin fueled Jenks with 24 points, seven assists and four steals.
Walker Kennedy, Piedmont boys basketball
In a big game against district foe Norman High, Kennedy finished with 22 points, four rebounds and four steals. His team went on to win, 72-50.
Jaden Johnson, Mustang boys basketball
The sophomore balled out on his birthday, scoring 20 points and helping his team come away with a 67-57 win against Edmond Deer Creek.
Zac Brown, Collinsville boys basketball
In a semifinal game of the Veterans Arena Invitational, Brown only played two and a half quarters in a win over Tulsa KIPP, but finished with 26 points.
Kobe Freeman, Purcell boys basketball
Freeman is feeling it headed into the winter break, as he is averaging 26 points a game in his last four games, including an average of five made three pointers a game. One of those wins is a 53-50 victory over Caddo, the top-ranked team in Class 6A.
Braxton Repsclaeger, Catoosa boys basketball
In a 65-57 win over Verdigris, Repsclaeger led the Indians with 20 points to get the win. The 20th-ranked Class 4A squad is 4-2 headed into Christmas break.
Jude Hill, Destiny Christian School boys basketball
At the Jim Elliot Crusader Classic, Hill played three games and put up 15, 26 and 27 points, respectively. In one of those games, he was 6-of-8 from 3-point range. Later in the week, Hill surpassed 1,000 career points.
Ryker Buckley, Kellyville boys basketball
In a battle between two top 20 teams, it was Kellyville who came out on top over Riverfield, 62-57. As a freshman, Buckley showed the potential that he has, as he finished with 25 points.
Cooper Braden, Tonkawa boys basketball
In an 83-80 overtime victory over Garber, Braden scored 34 points to lead his team to victory.
De'Yanna Douglas, Midwest City girls basketball
The Lady Bombers cruised past John Marshall last week and Douglas scored a game-high 33 points and added 12 rebounds in the win. Later in the week, McIntire broke the school's all-time leading rebounding record.
Ausha Moore, Midwest City Carl Albert basketball
The senior rallied her team from an 11-point deficit in the third quarter, as she scored 15 points and the Lady Titans went on to beat Guthrie, 42-29.
Talia Vann, Bethany girls basketball
In a dominating win over Chickasha, Vann recorded a double-double. She finished with 15 points and had 11 rebounds.
Ava McIntyre, Oklahoma Christian School girls basketball
In a win last week in which McIntyre scored in double figures, she also reached the 1,000-career point mark.
Jaylen Cauthron, Idabel girls basketball
As a freshman, Cauthron has had a great start to the season. In a game against a talented Sapulpa team earlier this year, she had 31 points, 11 rebounds and five steals.
Hannah Reynolds, Pawhuska girls basketball
In the Battle of the Osage basketball edition, Reynolds led all scorers to lead her team to a convincing 21-point win over Hominy. The junior made six 3-pointers and finished with 25 points.
Ethan Teague, Tuttle boys wrestling
The 175-pound wrestler is the most recent Class 4A state champion. He also most recently pinned his previous opponent and has announced he will be wrestling at Oklahoma State University.
Ashly Johnson, Poteau girls wrestling
The Lady Indians competed at a wrestling tournament in Fayetteville, Ark., over the weekend and finished ninth as a team. Johnson brought home a first place medal in her weight division.
