Jones quarterback Clayton Creasey voted SBLive's Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week

Despite semifinal loss, Longhorns signal-caller had huge night

Though his team came up agonizingly short of reaching a state title game, Clayton Creasey did his best to give his squad a chance.

Creasey, a senior quarterback at Jones, threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns while adding 94 yards rushing in a Class 2A semifinal game Dec. 1 against Washington. However, despite his best efforts, the Longhorns fell just short, falling 35-34 to a Washington squad which eventually won the 2A championship.

For his efforts, Creasey was voted the SBLive Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week for Nov. 27-Dec. 3.
