Carson Cooksey, Blanchard football

In a game that featured seven turnovers, it was the senior quarterback in Cooksey that came up big for Blanchard as they knocked off Wagoner to win the Class 4A state title, 19-14. Cooksey passed for 200 yards and a score and also ran for another.

The University of Oklahoma commit finished with 167 yards on the ground and three touchdowns and 103 yards through the air and a touchdown, though he suffered a second-half injury and missed the remainder of the contest.

Hudson Howard, Washington football

It was the quarterback Major Cantrell who delivered the game-winning touchdown, but it was Howard who was steady throughout the night. He finished the Class 2A state semifinal win against Jones with 179 yards rushing and two scores.

Jaden Nickens, OKC Milwood football

Nickens only had three catches for 47 yards on the night, but he had two touchdowns off those throws. They will now play Washington in the Class 2A state championship game.

Clayton Creasey, Jones football

In a semifinal loss to Washington, Creasey went out with his head held high. He threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns, while also chewing up 94 yards on the ground.
