There were plenty of great highlights from the past week in Oklahoma high school sports, and here we take a look back at the top individual performances from a week ago.

Titan Hix, Locust Grove football

The Locust Grove senior had seven total touchdowns, running for four and passing for three more. The quarterback passed for nearly 300 yards and was 17-of-29 passing and also rushed for 138 yards.

Devin Alexander, Norman High football

Despite suffering a loss on Friday night, Alexander rushed for 281 yards and scored six touchdowns.

Lyric Wheeler, Owasso football

The senior linebacker had a great defensive effort, getting two fumble recoveries and a tackle for loss, which set up the first 17 points for the Rams in an eventual 41-21 win against Broken Arrow.

Kaydin Jones, Jenks football

The sophomore running back had a breakout game in the Backyard Bowl, as he had 156 yards rushing, 60 yards receiving and tossed a 16-yard touchdown pass in the Trojans' 31-24 win against Tulsa Union.

Carlos Hardeman, Classen SAS football

In a 69-6 win against Oklahoma City Southeast, the sophomore quarterback had a great night, passing for more than 500 yards and running for 122 yards. He scored 10 total touchdowns in the win.

CJ Turnbull, OKC Millwood football

The Falcons handled OKC Douglass with ease, as they put up 81 points in a win, and Turnbull threw for more than 300 yards on 11-of-18 passing. He threw for six touchdown passes.

Kevin Sperry, Carl Albert football

Sperry passed for 298 yards on only 15 completions in a 43-20 win at Muskogee on Friday night. He passed for three touchdowns and ran for another.

Dev Mathews, Edmond North football

In a 56-35 rivalry win against Edmond Memorial, Mathews ran for 377 yards and scored six touchdowns.

Stone Chism, Weatherford football

The junior quarterback had four rushing touchdowns in the game, including the game-winner with 29 seconds left in a 28-26 win over El Reno.

Holden Kee, Yukon football

In a 37-34 win over Stillwater, Kee did a little bit of everything. He passed for more than 200 yards and accounted for more than 100 yards rushing.

Austin Hardwick, Pocola football

In a 56-7 win against Spiro, Hardwick went 20-of-23 through the air, passing for five touchdowns and 350 yards.

Hudson Howard, Washington football

On 21 carries, Howard ran for 141 yards and scored five touchdowns in the Warriors' 34-8 win against Jones.

Braxton Etheridge, Claremore football

In a 62-41 win over Oologah, Etheridge passed for more than 400 yards and passed for five touchdowns on only 15 completions.

Andy Bass, Heritage Hall football

In only three quarters of play, Bass passed for 365 yards and five touchdowns. The University of Oklahoma commit also had 109 yards rushing and two touchdowns as the Chargers outlasted Clinton, 50-43.

Jax Bernard, Fairview football

Bernard was 30-of-41 and passed for 301 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-21 win at Alva. He also ran for 91 yards and a score.

Jaxon Woods, Hominy football

In a "Battle of the Osage" victory over Pawhuska, Woods was responsible for four touchdowns and accounted for more than 250 yards of total offense.

Curry Kendall, Bishop Kelley volleyball

Kendall was key in a five set win against Cascia Hall last week. The senior will be playing at Indiana State University next year.

Allyssa Parker, Pocola fast pitch softball

Parker committed to the University of Oklahoma to play softball and in the next two games, she promptly hit home runs. On Sept. 7, she threw a five-inning perfect game against Stilwell; two days before, against Central Sallisaw, she hit a grand slam and struck out 14 of the 21 batters she faced.

Brayden Cowan, Watonga boys cross country

At the Cherokee Invitational Cross Country Meet, Cowan won the meet with a time of 15:00.

Reese Coleman, Watonga girls cross country

With a time of 13:02, Coleman won the 3,200-meter run at the Cherokee Invitational.

Cash Williams, Choctaw football

The quarterback accounted for three touchdowns and 356 total yards as the Yellowjackets won, 29-10, at Westmoore on Sept. 7. He had an 80-yard TD run on the game's second play.
