Harper Annarino, Granville girls basketball
Scored 37 points in a 67-40 victory against Licking Heights to set a new program record for most points scored in a single game. The win also clinched the Blue Aces’ fourth straight Licking County League title.
Elise Bender, Anthony Wayne girls basketball
Finished with a team-high 19 points to defeat Whitmer 72-43 and added 29 points in a 71-59 win over West Bloomfield (Michigan).
Megan Campbell, Jackson girls basketball
The Tiffin commit dropped 21 points to beat Perry 52-43 and claim a share of the Federal League title.
Brayden Gross, Louisville boys basketball
Bucketed a career-high 29 points and 11 rebounds to help the Leopards edge Canton McKinley 71-67.
Anna Habra, Mason girls basketball
Dropped a season-high 23 points in the Comets’ 57-49 win against Princeton.
Julia Hall, Magnificat girls basketball
Led the Blue Streaks to a 2-0 record for the week, scoring a team-high 22 points to beat Fremont Ross 61-38 and finishing with 14 points to outscore Saint Joseph Academy 49-34.
Caitlyn Holmes, Ellet girls basketball
In a 55-41 win over Buchtel, Holmes led all scorers with 27 points as the Orangemen secured their third straight Akron City Series girls basketball title.
Marcus Johnson, Garfield Heights boys basketball
Chipped in 28 points and seven rebounds to help beat Shaker Heights 79-39 and finished with 21 points and eight rebounds to defeat Warrensville Heights 74-45 and clinch the Lake Erie League title.
Jesse McCulloch, Lutheran East boys basketball
Eclipsed 1,000 career points and recorded 29 points and 15 rebounds in a 68-44 victory against Brush.
Mason Shrout, Preble Shawnee boys basketball
Posted a team-high 28 points in a 67-40 victory over Newton.
Milee Smith, Unioto girls basketball
The sophomore guard scored 28 points to help defeat Adena 62-49 and clinch a share of the Shermans’ second straight Scioto Valley Conference championship.
Amare Spiva, Pickerington Central boys basketball
Chipped in 23 points to help defeat Olentangy Orange 59-56 and snap their perfect 17-0 record.
Julian Washington, Margaretta boys basketball
The sophomore guard had 29 points to help the Bears edge Old Fort 62-59.
Antoine West Jr., Whitmer boys basketball
Led the Panthers to a 2-0 record for the week, scoring 25 points in a 77-71 victory against Perrysburg and pouring in 21 points in a 92-55 victory over Ross.
Jack Zapolnik, St. Ignatius boys basketball
Had a game-high 17 points to lead the Eagles to a 64-61 rivalry win over St. Edward. The win marks the Wildcats’ first road victory against the Eagles since the 2016-17 season.
