Matthew Biddell, Mentor boys basketball
Scored a game-high 46 points and reached 1,000 career points in a 114-100 win over Strongsville.
Mackenzie Blackford, Solon girls basketball
The senior guard had 29 points, nine rebounds and four assists in a 71-51 win over Brecksville.
Noah Blough, Madison wrestling
At the Chagrin Valley Conference meet, the senior took home the top spot at 165 pounds with a pin in 39 seconds in the final.
Evan Bowers, St. Henry boys basketball
Scored 28 points to help the Redskins pull off a 67-64 overtime victory against New Bremen.
Izzy Callaway, Copley girls basketball
Led the Indians to a 2-0 record for the week, scoring 22 points in a 62-30 victory over Barberton and adding 20 points to help defeat Revere 51-36 to clinch the Suburban League American Conference championship.
Robert Davis, Stow wrestling
Remained unbeaten on the season with a win at the Suburban League meet, winning the final at 132 pounds with a tech fall at 3:53.
Michaela Dean Dunn, Canal Winchester girls basketball
Hit 13 3-pointers in an 83-18 victory over Franklin Heights to tie the state record for most threes made in a game.
Saniyah Hall, Laurel girls basketball
Led all scorers with 37 points, in a 68-59 win over Brush. The sophomore also added 10 rebounds and seven assists in the victory.
Hayden Hull, Gahanna Lincoln girls basketball
Hit seven 3-pointers to help defeat Springfield 44-34 at the Lady Nubian Classic.
Marcus Johnson, Garfield Heights boys basketball
The sophomore guard finished with 30 points, eight rebounds and three assists in a 62-30 victory over Lorain.
Serenitee Johnson, Lake girls basketball
Scored 19 points to help Lake defeat Jackson on Wednesday in a showdown at the top of the Federal League and then on Saturday she led the Blue Streaks with 22 points in a win over Green.
Jaxon Joy, Wadsworth wrestling
Continued his great season with a win at the Suburban League championships, taking home first place at 150 pounds with a tech fall at 1:50.
Carter Mallernee, Northridge boys basketball
Dropped 53 points to help defeat Fairview 86-78 and set the record for most points scored at the Battle at the Berkey.
Jayda Mosley, Purcell Marian girls basketball
Posted 17 points en route to reaching 1,000 career points and in a win over Roger Bacon.
Jonas Nichols, Archbishop Hoban boys basketball
Put up 22 points to defeat Lutheran West 68-62 and hand them their second loss of the season. Also became Hoban's all-time leading scorer in a win over SPIRE.
Tai Perkins, Westerville North boys basketball
In a rivalry matchup against Westerville South, Perkins dropped 34 points and hit five 3-pointers to help defeat the Wildcats 68-61.
Katlyn Pham, Lakota East girls basketball
Finished with 22 points in a 51-38 win over rival Lakota West.
Adom Sharpley, Solon wrestling
The junior became the first Suburban League champion in Solon history when took home top honors at 120 pounds, winning the final with a 15-1 major decision.
Colin White, Ottawa-Glandorf boys basketball
Led the Titans to a 2-0 record for the week behind big performances against Hiland and Van Wert. White scored 17 points in a 73-44 victory over Van Wert to become Ottawa-Glandorf's all-time leading scorer and hit a buzzer-beater against Hiland to grab a 59-56 win.
Quinn Woidke, St. Ignatius boys basketball
Led the Wildcats to a 55-46 road win over Buchtel with 17 points. In a 69-54 victory over Lutheran East, Woidke scored 24 points and hit five 3-pointers.
