The OHSAA football playoffs are down to the last 14 teams standing, as the final two teams in each division will take the field in Canton this weekend for a chance to hoist the championship hardware.

The seven OHSAA football State championship games will be played in Canton at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium from Nov. 30-Dec. 2. The Division IV state championship will be on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7:00 pm.

Alter: Def. Steubenville 48-0

Glenville: 1 (2022)

Alter: 2 (2009, 2008)

Notes: After an undefeated championship season in 2022, Glenville looks to repeat as state champions in 2023.

The only three losses for Glenville this season came to nationally ranked IMG Academy and losses to Archbishop Hoban and Avon, who met in the Division II state semifinals.

The Alter defense has given up just a total of nine points in five playoff games.
