Sophia Adkins, Mercy McAuley girls soccer

Had 19 kills and 16 digs in the Division II state championship game win over Gilmour Academy.

Trenton Barraza, Columbus Grove football

Barraza opened the scoring for Columbus Grove with a 33-yard touchdown run and finished with 160 rushing yards and two more scores as Grove bested Carey 37-21.

Brodey Berg, Anderson football

The senior running back finished with four touchdowns to help lead Anderson to a 50-36 win over Harrison. Berg is set to join the OHSAA record book for most touchdowns in a career with 85 scores.

Isaac Bunts, Perkins football

Bunts led the Pirates offense with 153 rushing yards and two touchdowns en route to a 38-21 win over West Holmes.

Thomas Csanyi, St. Edward football

Csanyi finished 13-of-15 for 162 yards and three touchdowns in the Eagles’ 41-17 victory over Canton McKinley.

Alyssa Easter, Cincinnati Country Day girls soccer

Had a pair of clean sheets, including making two saves in a 1-0 win over Ottawa-Glandrof in the Division III state championship game. Ottawa-Glandorf had 12 shots in the second half, including the pair on goal saved by Easter. 

Will Francis, Chardon football

The signal-caller led the Hilltoppers to its fifth straight regional berth behind a four-touchdown night. Francis went 4-of-5 for 93 yards and a touchdown while adding 118 yards and three scores on the ground as Chardon beat Aurora 31-7.

Landon Haas, Tippecanoe boys soccer

Scored the game-winner in the second overtime for a 2-1 win over Bishop Watterson in the Division II semifinals. And then in the Division II state championship game, he scored what would be the game-winner in a 2-0 win over Revere.

Olivia Heitkamp, New Bremen girls volleyball 

Had 20 kills and 14 digs in the Division IV state championship game win over Calvert.

Elise Marchal, Kings girls volleyball

In the Division I state championship game against Olentangy Orange, Marchal had 28 kills in 3-0 sweep.

Finn Mason, Lakota West football

Led the Firebirds defense with two interceptions and returned one 72 yards for a touchdown to hand Princeton its first loss of the season, 19-7.

Maddie Mescher, Summit Country Day girls soccer

Didn’t allow a goal in either the Division II semifinals or championship game and made three saves to lead SCD to a 1-0 win over Rocky River in the title game.

Colin Monroe, St. Ignatius boys soccer

Made a pair of saves on PKs in a shootout, including saving the final PK, to help the Wildcats defeat Archbishop Moeller in the Division I state championship game. He also made a save on a PK in the state semifinals to keep the score 2-0 with 11 minutes left in the first half of a 3-0 win over Medina. 

Keller Moten, Walsh Jesuit football

The quarterback was dangerous on the ground and through the air, as he carried the ball 10 times for 134 yards and three touchdowns while also completing 8-of-11 passes for 164 yards and a pair of scores as Walsh defeated Hudson 35-14.

Riley Neer, Bellefontaine football

Finished as the Chiefs’ leading receiver with 11 receptions for 204 yards and two touchdowns in Bellefontaine defeated Granville 29-21.

Jayvin Norman, Springfield football

The senior running back rushed for over 200 yards and two scores, including a 76-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, as Springfield upset Olentangy 37-24.

Hannah Pachan, Walsh Jesuit girls soccer

In the Division I state semifinals, Pachen scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Strongsville, including the game-winner on a 25-yard free kick in the 72nd minute. She backed that up with a pair of goals in a 2-1 win over Olentangy Liberty in the state championship game.

Matt Ponatoski, Archbishop Moeller football

In a 38-3 victory over Mason, Ponatoski passed for 287 yards and five touchdowns to become Moeller’s all-time single-season passing leader with 2,965 yards.

Greyson Siders, Dalton football

The senior running back dominated on offense with 312 yards on 25 carries and three touchdowns, including one on a 65-yard run.

Katie Sowko, Mentor Lake Catholic girls volleyball

In a win over Archbishop McNicholas in the Division III state championship game, she had 21 kills and 17 digs. 

Jayden Studio, Perry football

The senior running back rushed for over 200 yards and two touchdowns as the Pirates defeated the Garrettsville Garfield G-Men 42-14. Studio’s biggest play of the night came on a 63-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

Danny Stoddard, Medina football

The senior quarterback went 21-of-30 for 359 yards and three touchdowns to help the Bees edge Cleveland Heights 21-20.

Damarion Witten, Glenville football

The Ohio State commit scored on a 37-yard pass in the first quarter and added another touchdown in the Tarblooders’ 50-14 win over Shelby.

Preston Wolfe, Hilliard Bradley football

The senior wide receiver made eight catches for 85 yards and scored the Jaguars only two touchdowns to defeat Pickerington North 19-0.
