Here are five games of note from around the state of Ohio on Friday night

The final week of the Ohio high school football regular season is upon us, with a number of great matchups, including two games between teams in the SBLive Ohio Power 25.

SBLive had coverage of the game between No. 3 Archbishop Hoban and No. 4 St. Edward, a game won by St. Edward 14-7.

Another SBLive Ohio Power 25 matchup featured No. 8 Gahanna Lincoln and No. 17 Pickerington North.

Other games to watch included No. 5 Avon versus Avon Lake, No. 10 Marion Local against Coldwater, No. 9 Sandusky Perkins at Tiffin Columbian and No. 24 Wapakoneta facing Celina

Here are recaps of five games of note around Ohio from Friday night:

No. 5 Avon 45, Avon Lake 0

In one of Ohio's best rivalries, the Eagles shut out the Shoremen to finish off a 10-0 regular season.

Ty Kaufman had touchdown runs of 16 and 73 yards in the first half and Quiante Smith scored twice in the second half for Avon.

Nolan Good threw a touchdown pass early in the second quarter and Jakorion Caffey scored from one yard out in the third quarter. 

The Avon defense also scored on a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown.

No. 8 Gahanna Lincoln 35, Pickerington North 28, 2OT

Running back Diore Hubbard scored from nine yards out in the second overtime and Terrell Holcomb intercepted a pass on Pickerington North's possession to end the game.

The touchdown was Hubbard's third of the game, as he scored twice in the second half after Lincoln had fallen down 21-7.

After Pickerington North took a lead on their possession in the first overtime, Lincoln quarterback Brennen Ward hit Tayshawn Parm for a 6-yard touchdown pass to tie the game, setting up Hubbard's heroics.

Lincoln finishes 10-0, while Pickerington North loses its first game of the season.

No. 9 Perkins 55, Tiffin Columbian 28

Quarterback Logan Lesch accounted for five touchdowns and running back Isaac Bunts scored three times to help lead Perkins to a win and an undefeated regular season.

Lesch threw four touchdown passes and ran for another to help pace the Pirates' offense. He hit Weston Sturzonger for two scores and Braylon Collier and Brady Legando for one each.

Bunts scored on two long touchdown runs - 75 and 45 yards - and then punched one in from three yards in late int he game to wrap up the scoring.

Damien Brockington ran for two touchdowns for Columbian and Brayden Roggow threw a pair of touchdown passes, both to Brady Gooding.

No. 10 Marion Local 35, Coldwater 14

Marion Local scored 28 straight points after the game was tied 7-7 to pull away for a win to finish the regular season 10-0.

Junior quarterback Justin Knouff threw four touchdown passes to lead the Marion Local offense, with one touchdown pass in each quarter. He threw an 18-yarder in the first, a 56-yarder in the second, a 35-yarder in the third and a 34-yarder in the fourth.

No. 24 Wapakoneta 30, Celina 3

Running back Jace Knous scored twice and quarterback Caleb Moyer accounted for the other two touchdowns for Wapakoneta in the win.

Knous scored from two yards out in the first quarter to give Wapakoneta a 7-0 lead and then again on a 4-yard run in the fourth quarter to finish the scoring.

Moyers scored on a 1-yard run and also hit Grant Jolly with a 37-yard touchdown pass.
