We have eight players nominated this week for SBLive’s North Carolina Girls Basketball Player of the Week from Feb. 12-17 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who had the best performance.

Voting will conclude on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

HERE ARE THIS WEEK'S NOMINEES

Jerin Truesdale, Myers Park: Truesdale scored 21 points and had 10 rebounds in a 78-47 win over South Mecklenburg.

Elle Stone, Mallard Creek: Stone filled up the stat sheet in a 67-20 win against Chambers, finishing with 19 points, nine rebounds, five steals and three assists.

Samantha Shehan, Lake Norman: Shehan scored her 1,000th career point in a 76-48 win over Mooresville.

Trista Charles, Oak Grove: Charles had 27 points and 10 rebounds in the Grizzlies' win over North Davidson.

Taylor Barner, Panther Creek: Barner scored 31 points in a win over AFHS and scored 24 in a win against HSHS.

Delanie Hill, Providence: Hill scored 33 points, had six assists, five rebounds and three steals in a 75-57 win over Garinger.

Kate Sears, Watauga: Sears poured in 33 points, including 6 3-pointers, added four rebounds, five assists and a steal in a 75-52 win over Freedom.

Jayda Angel, Cape Fear: Angel scored 36 points in a win against South View and scored 39 in a win over Gray's Creek.
