Here are the candidates for SBLive’s North Carolina High School Athlete of the Week for Nov. 12 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Voting will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's poll.

HERE ARE THIS WEEK'S NOMINEES

Gannon Jones, Cardinal Gibbons: Jones completed 17 of 20 passes for 245 yards and four touchdowns in a 55-21 win over Millbrook in the second round of the 4-A playoffs. The Crusaders have won eight straight games.

Al Lee, Reidsville: Lee threw three touchdowns in Thursday's 42-7 win over West Stokes in the second round of the 2-A playoffs, giving him 108 for his career and becoming the Rams' all-time leader in passing touchdowns.

Jayden Jones, Independence: Jones ran for 208 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-28 upset win over East Forsyth in the 4-A playoffs.

Ricky Tolbert, Asheville School: Tolbert threw for 189 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 91 yards and two scores in a 55-0 win over Hickory Grove Christian.

Josiah Glaspie, Swain County: Glaspie ran for 207 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-7 win over Bessemer City.

Maddox Greene, Watauga: Greene threw for 157 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 123 yards and a score in a 20-14 win over Mallard Creek in the second round of the 4-A playoffs.

Braden Atkinson, Rolesville: Atkinson completed 27 of 32 passes for 371 yards and two touchdowns in a 49-13 win over Wake Forest in the second round of the 4-A playoffs.

Hampton Roderick, Laney: Roderick had eight receptions for 155 yards and a touchdown, and had an interception return for a touchdown in a 38-20 win over Apex Friendship in the second round of the 4-A playoffs.
