Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Western North Carolina Offensive Football Player of the Week for Sept. 14-15 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. HERE ARE THIS WEEK'S NOMINEES

Jaron Ward, Hendersonville: Ward completed 10 of 13 passes for 264 yards and three touchdowns and also had 68 rushing yards in a 49-20 win against R-S Central.

Jaylin Winnix, West Lincoln: Winnix ran for 271 yards and two touchdowns and had two 2-point conversions in a 36-28 win over Bandys.

Benjamin Kessinger, Brevard: Kessinger threw for 174 yards and four touchdowns in a 63-15 win over East Rutherford.

Lawson Carter, Polk County: Carter completed 15 of 18 passes for 283 yards and five touchdowns in a 57-12 win over Patton.

Jason Willis, Bunker Hill: Willis had 245 rushing yards and four touchdowns in a 45-37 win over Lincolnton.

Josh Stover, Maiden: Stover makes this list for the second week in a row after throwing for 207 yards and four touchdowns and running for 82 yards and a score in a 36-22 win over East Burke.
