Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Eastern North Carolina Defensive Football Player of the Week for Sept. 14-15 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. HERE ARE THIS WEEK'S NOMINEES

Gage Tremaine, Cleveland: Tremaine had 11 tackles, five tackles for loss, a sack and a fumble recovery in a 51-0 win over Corinth Holders.

Antonio Reese, Clayton: Reese had two interceptions in a 39-14 win over Fuquay Varina.

Ryder Wilcox, Topsail: Wilcox had an interception return for a touchdown and also a receiving touchdown in a 50-14 win against West Brunswick.

Mikelis Hobgood, Webb: Hobgood recorded six tackles and had an interception in a 50-0 win over Granville Central.

Ronnie Hooker, Lee County: Hooker had nine tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks in a 34-16 win against Panther Creek.

Mason Hinnant, Hunt: Hinnant finished with 12 tackles in a 35-7 win over Aycock.

Jordan Hall, East Duplin: Hall had nine tackles and a sack in a 28-7 win over James Kenan.
