Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Central North Carolina Offensive Football Player of the Week for Sept. 8-9 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote in our poll. You may vote as often as you like. Voting will conclude on Saturday, September 16 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's poll. Congratulations to last week's winner, Robbie Whitney of East Forsyth. Whitney received 16,835 votes, 64 percent of the votes cast. D.J. Parker of Dudley was the runner-up.

HERE ARE THIS WEEK'S NOMINEES

Keelan Flowe, Chambers: Flowe, who has committed to West Virginia, had two interceptions, both of which were returned for touchdowns, in a 63-14 win over Hickory Ridge.

Cole Webster, Cuthbertson: Webster had eight tackles and a sack in a 23-0 win over Palisades, giving Cuthbertson its first 4-0 start in school history.

Phil Harris, Butler: Harris had eight tackles and three pass break-ups in a 22-15 win against Weddington.

Parker Ludwick, Ardrey Kell: Ludwick recorded 18 tackles and blocked a punt in a 27-14 win against Catawba Ridge.

Jackson Whittier, Hickory Grove: Whittier had 18 tackles and recovered a fumble in a 43-0 win over Mount Zion.

Quintin McCray, Providence Day: McCray finished with nine tackles in a 44-7 win over Cannon School.
