Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Eastern North Carolina Offensive Football Player of the Week for Aug. 28-Sept. 2 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Congratulations to last week's winner, Braden Quinn of Ashley. Quinn received 77 percent of the votes to beat out  Christian Rutledge, a running back at South View.

HERE ARE THIS WEEK'S NOMINEES

Mason Shand, New Hanover: Shand ran for 88 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-7 win against Northside-Jacksonville.

Jameson Prince, South Brunswick: Prince threw for 221 yards and a touchdown and ran for 66 yards in a 26-21 win over St. Paul's.

Unique Kelly, West Columbus: Kelly threw three touchdown passes in a 27-15 win over West Bladen.

Johnathan Montague, Clayton: Montague ran for 210 yards and two touchdowns and threw for 110 yards and a score in a 45-7 win against Wakefield.

Quinn Bentley, Ashley: Bentley had four touchdowns and 71 rushing yards in a 42-32 win against East Bladen.

Devyn Grant, Garner: Grant ran for 156 yards and three touchdowns in a 33-28 win over Millbrook.

Kavon Simmons, Wake Forest: Simmons threw for 260 yards and four touchdowns in a 31-6 win against Southeast Raleigh.
