Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Central North Carolina Offensive Football Player of the Week for Aug. 31-Sept. 2 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote in our poll. You may vote as often as you like. Voting will conclude on Saturday, September 9 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's poll. Congratulations to last week's winner, East Forsyth quarterback Bryce Baker. Baker received 77 percent of all votes cast last week. Caleb Creech of Eastern Guilford finished second.

HERE ARE THIS WEEK'S NOMINEES

Micah Gilbert, Charlotte Christian: Gilbert had 10 receptions for 173 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-36 win against South Point. 

Ty Miller, Davie County: Miller threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns in a 32-2 win against North Davidson.

Tanner DeLattre, South Davidson: DeLattre completed 14 of 16 passes (87.5 percent) for 291 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-0 win against North Stokes. He also had an interception return for a touchdown.

Josh Alston, East Forsyth: Alston had six receptions for 156 yards and two touchdowns in a 27-21 win against A.C. Reynolds.

A.J. Pardue, Starmount: Pardue ran for 108 yards and two touchdowns and also had a touchdown receptions in a 47-14 win against Forbush in the UNIFI Bowl.

Jeremiah Liszewski, Marvin Ridge: Liszewski had 30 carries for 153 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-35 win over Ardrey Kell. Liszewski has 566 rushing yards and nine touchdowns this season.
