NCHSAA 2-A State Softball Tournament
The North Carolina High School Athletic Association released brackets on Monday for state softball championships in all four classifications.
All games are at the higher seed and all rounds are single elimination rounds until the regional championships.
Regional championships and state championships are a best-of-three series. For the regional championships, the higher seeded team will host two games. If a third game is needed, the lower seed will host one game.
State championships will be played at NC State, Duke, and UNC-Greensboro.
Here is the playoff schedule for the baseball and softball playoffs:
- First Round - May 9 @ higher seed
- Second Round - May 12 @ higher seed
- Third Round - May 16 @ higher seed
- Fourth Round - May 19 @ higher seed
- Regionals - May 22-27 (best of three)
- State championships - June 2-3 (best of three)
