Cooper Flagg headlines USA Basketball 2024 Nike Hoop Summit roster

USA men's, women's rosters unveiled for elite showcase of tomorrow's college, NBA/WNBA stars

Cooper Flagg, top high school prospect in the country and projected No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, will play on a stage that has long been a proving ground for the NBA stars of tomorrow.

Flagg headlines the Team USA men's roster, USA Basketball unveiled Thursday, for the 2024 Nike Hoop Summit, a showcase on April 13 that pits the top high school seniors in the nation against the best prospects from around the world,

In the past, names such as Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, John Wall and Anthony Davis have shown out on the stage in Portland, which is preceded by a week of practices and scrimmages in front of NBA scouts, media and professional front office personnel.

Flagg plays for Montverde, the No. 1 ranked high school team in the country (SBLive/SI).

He's joined by a talent-laden group that includes McEachern (Georgia) five-star small forward Ace Bailey and Don Bosco Prep (New Jersey) five-star combo guard Dylan Harper, who are both committed to Rutgers.

Last year, five-star Ron Holland led Team USA to a 90-84 win over Team World with 15 points, nine boards and five assists. Holland, SBLive's National Boys Basketball Player of the Year in 2022-23, now plays on the G-League Ignite.

USA Basketball also announced its roster for the women's Hoop Summit, which returns for its second year. Last year, now-LSU freshman Mikaylah Williams scored 22 points to lead Team USA to a 100-79 win over the World team.
