In one of the highest-scoring playoff games in the history of Texas high school football, Broxton Robinson of Panhandle played the game of his life.

The sophomore finished with 10 touchdowns in the Panthers' 93-54 win over Tahoka in the bi-district round Friday night, scoring on five passes, four runs and one kickoff return.

Robinson posted six touchdowns in the first half as Panhandle built a 58-34 lead at the break. He added four more in the second half, as the Panthers won handily and advanced to an area round matchup with Hawley.

Three of Robinson's touchdown passes were caught by Landon Durst, who also rushed for a touchdown and returned a kickoff for a touchdown.

Panhandle and Tahoka combined for 107 points, which was the second most points scored in a playoff game in state history.

They quickly moved to third on the list, however, after Hooks defeated Edgewood by a score of 93-57.
