Texas high school football powerhouses Denton Guyer and Allen face off Friday night in one of the Lone Star State's biggest games of the week.

Guyer (5-2, 3-1) enters the matchup ranked No. 14 in Texas after beating Braswell, 56-28, its last time out.

Allen (5-2, 4-0) looks to make another statement after upsetting then-No. 21 McKinney last week.

Will Guyer pick up another win, or will Allen stake its claim as one of the top 25 teams in Texas?

FOURTH QUARTER

-- Allen had a shot to take the lead in the final minute, but Jayden Collins comes up with a game-sealing interception for Guyer. The Wildcats enter victory formation and run out the clock.

-- Allen needed a quick scoring drive, and that's what it got. Amir McDowell takes the handoff for a one-yard touchdown, and the Eagles are successful on the two-point conversion. (Guyer, 24-18 | 4:35)

-- Guyer did it again. The past two times Allen has scored, the Wildcats have responded immediately. Oklahoma commit Eli Bowen returns a kickoff for a touchdown to give them some cushion on the scoreboard. (Guyer, 24-10 | 5:28)

-- Allen isn't going away without a fight. Brayden Nelson hits a 36-yard field goal to cut into the Wildcats' lead. (Guyer, 17-10 | 5:39)

THIRD QUARTER
