Ava Arias, McDaniel
The senior had a big game for the Mountain Lions, scoring 27 points, sinking three 3-pointers in the process, while also having five rebounds and three assists in a 43-42 Portland Interscholastic League win over Lincoln. It was the program’s first victory over the Cardinals since 2013.
Halley Barram, South Salem
The senior guard, one of the team’s captains, had 17 points, three assists and three steals in a 70-54 Mountain Valley Conference win over Summit. She had six points, four assists and four steals in a 54-23 league victory over Sprague.
Gabby Bland, Crescent Valley
The junior guard scored a game-high 19 points, all coming in the first half, to help the Raiders post a 72-29 win over South Albany in a Mid-Willamette Conference game played at Crescent Valley High School.
Annabelle Brawley, Salem Academy
The senior wing had a double-double, with 16 points and 11 steals, as she helped the Crusaders post a 77-10 win over Kennedy in a Tri-River Conference game played at Kennedy High School.
Brynly Bryan, Liberty
The 5-foot-4 senior has averaged 7 rebounds and 3.8 steals per game over the past two weeks while, coach Melanie Wagoner says, also lifting the team to another level with her heart, energy and leadership.
Kyrah Daniels, Ridgeview
The junior guard/forward, who recently moved with her family from Australia, came off the bench to score 20 points, including 14 in the second half, helping lead the Ravens to a 65-60 win over Pendleton in an Intermountain Conference game played at Ridgeview High School.
Maddie Dustin, South Salem
The sophomore guard scored 18 points while also having six assists and five rebounds for the Saxons in a 70-54 Mountain Valley Conference victory against Summit. Dustin also scored 11 points and had two steals in a 54-23 league win over Sprague.
Reese Ericson, Lakeridge
The senior guard had a big night for the Pacers, scoring 17 points, tying her for game-high honors, while also having six rebounds, four assists and four steals in a 46-39 win over West Linn in a Three Rivers League showdown played at Lakeridge High School.
Fiona Farmer, McDaniel
The senior guard scored 11 points, making two 3-pointers, while also having six steals, four rebounds and a blocked shot to help the Mountain Lions get a 60-27 win at Roosevelt in Portland Interscholastic League play.
Gabbie Harms, Sheldon
The junior forward had a double-double, with 15 points and 13 rebounds, as she helped the Irish notch a 45-43 win over Grants Pass in a Southwest Conference game played at Grants Pass High School.
Kendra Hicks, Jesuit
The junior forward had a couple of double-doubles for the Crusaders in Metro League play the past week. Hicks had 16 points and 11 rebounds in a 50-40 win at Westview, and she had 14 points and 20 rebounds in a 46-24 home victory over Southridge.
Nykole Jackson, McDaniel
The senior point guard scored 20 points while also having five steals, four assists and three blocked shots for the Mountain Lions in a 60-27 win at Roosevelt in a Portland Interscholastic League contest.
Gracie Johnson, Nyssa
The 6-foot-5 senior forward scored a game-high 12 points, while also playing some shut-down defense, as she helped the Bulldogs record a 43-22 win over Vale in an Eastern Oregon League game played at Vale High School.
Sage Kramer, Philomath
The senior guard set a single-game school record, scoring an amazing 51 points for the Warriors in their 77-43 win over Woodburn in an Oregon West Conference game played at Philomath High School. Kramer scored 24 of her points in the second quarter, and she tallied 36 by halftime. Kramer broke the school record of 47 points, set by Trisha Stevens in 1987.
Abrianna Lawrence, Jefferson
The freshman had a big game for the Democrats in a 63-37 win over Grant in a Portland Interscholastic League game played at Grant High School. Lawrence scored a game-high 25 points, while also having six steals and six assists.
Janice Lee, McDaniel
The senior shooting guard scored the winning basket, coming on a buzzer-beating shot, helping the Mountain Lions get a thrilling 43-42 win over Lincoln in Portland Interscholastic League play. Lee had eight points, three rebounds and three assists in the victory, which was the program’s first win over the Cardinals since 2013.
Rockette Marrington, Brookings-Harbor
The junior guard scored a game-high 14 points, sinking a couple of 3-point baskets in the process, helping the Bruins notch a 53-20 win over Cascade Christian in a Far West League contest.
Sofia Megert, South Eugene
The senior guard scored 15 points, tying for game-high honors, while also having three steals and two blocked shots for the Axe in a 46-26 win over North Medford in Southwest Conference play. Megert also scored a game-high 33 points, making six 3-pointers, in an 82-55 loss to South Medford.
Keelie O’Halloran, Lakeridge
The junior wing had a strong game for the Pacers, scoring 17 points, tying her for game-high honors, while also having five rebounds, an assist, a steal and a blocked shot in a 46-39 win over West Linn in a key Three Rivers League contest played at Lakeridge High School.
Elena Porter, Perrydale
The senior scored a game-high 22 points, including a couple of clutch free throws with 3.3 seconds left, helping lead the Pirates to a 40-37 win over Crosshill Christian in a Casco League contest.
Tashaya Powers, North Salem
The senior wing scored a game-high 26 points, helping the Vikings earn a 47-45 win over Dallas in a Mid-Willamette Conference game played at Dallas High School.
Lily Ruiz, West Albany
The senior guard scored a game-high 17 points, sinking three 3-pointers in the process, helping the Bulldogs earn a 55-49 win over Lebanon in a Mid-Willamette contest played at West Albany High School.
Madison Schafer, McDaniel
The sophomore post stepped up for the Mountain Lions in Portland Interscholastic League victories over Roosevelt and Lincoln. In those contests, Schafer had seven points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and three blocked shots.
Kennedie Shuler, Barlow
The guard continued her standout junior season, as she averaged 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists per game for the Bruins in their Mt. Hood Conference wins over Gresham and David Douglas.
Mia Skoro, La SallePrep
The senior guard, one of the team captains, scored a game-high 24 points, shooting at a 9-for-13 clip from the field, including four 3-pointers, while also having four rebounds and four steals for the Falcons in a 62-13 Northwest Oregon Conference victory at Parkrose.
Brynn Smith, Willamette
The freshman guard scored a game-high 21 points, including 18 in the first half, while also sinking four 3-pointers for the Wolverines in their 57-36 win over North Eugene in a Midwestern League contest.
Bailey Tovey, Thurston
The sophomore scored a game-high 18 points, helping lead the Colts to a 54-34 victory over Ashland in a Midwestern League game played at Thurston High School.
Lydia Traore, Crater
The freshman post had a double-double, with 12 points and 12 rebounds, as she helped the Comets post a 56-10 win over Ashland in a Midwestern League game played at Crater High School.
Chase Weaver, Crater
The sophomore post stood strong on defense for the Comets, blocking nine shots in their 55-46 victory at Thurston in Midwestern League play. Weaver is averaging 3.5 blocked shots per game.
Madison Walker, Banks
The junior post pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds to go with eight points as she helped Banks record a 41-25 win over Valley Catholic in a Cowapa League game played at Valley Catholic High School.
Emme Whitson, Creswell
The senior guard had a strong all-around performance, scoring a team-high 15 points while also having six rebounds and four assists for the Bulldogs in their 53-44 win over Pleasant Hill in Mountain Valley Conference play.
Skylar Willey, Hidden Valley
The senior forward had a double-double, with 16 points and 15 rebounds, as she helped the Mustangs earn a come-from-behind 58-53 overtime win over Henley in a Skyline Conference game played at Hidden Valley.
Bailey Donohue, Lebanon
The junior post recorded 12 points and 9 rebounds against West Albany, and dropped 14 points, 8 rebounds, and an assist against Central.
