Del Norte continues to be one of San Diego's top surprises this season and moves into the No. 10 spot this week after pushing their record to 17-6. The Nighthawks shocked No. 2 San Marcos two weeks ago and will get another shot at the Knights this Friday as they try and move up the playoff rankings.

The Saints cruised against Coronado on Friday to remain undefeated in league play but fell to Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, 70-63, at Mater Dei's Nike Extravaganza on Saturday.

2. San Marcos (18-4)

San Marcos won four times last week, all by 15 points or more. They'll take on Rancho Bernardo and No. 10 Del Norte this week.

3. Torrey Pines (16-5)

The Falcons stayed undefeated in league play, taking down El Camino on Friday, but fell to Rancho Christian of the Southern Section in Saturday's Border Boyz Classic.

4. La Costa Canyon (16-5)

Christian Brown La Costa Canyon

The Mavericks won at Carlsbad on a put back buzzer-beater by Christian Brown and continued the week with wins over Canyon Crest and No. 5 San Ysidro. They'll see Vista and El Camino this week.

The Cougars took down Otay Ranch on Wednesday but lost a shootout against No. 4 La Costa Canyon on Saturday night. They'll play Eastlake and Montgomery this week before a showdown with No. 2 San Marcos on Saturday night at Mission Bay.

6. Mission Hills (16-6)

Mission Hills took care of business against Poway and Del Norte to keep pace with San Marcos in the Palomar League race. They'll be on the road this week with games against Westview, Rancho Bernardo, and San Diego.

Vinny Ferrari Francis Parker

Parker continued their hot run with dominant victories over Bishop's and Orange Glen. They'll battle Santa Fe Christian for first place in the Coastal League on Monday night before taking on La Jolla Country Day, Army-Navy, and No. 3 Torrey Pines later in the week.

The Buccaneers beat La Jolla in their lone game last week. They'll play three times this week including a battle with No. 1 St. Augustine on Friday night.

The Lancers bounced back from Tuesday’s loss against No. 4 La Costa Canyon with wins over Sage Creek and Vista later in the week. El Camino, No. 3 Torrey Pines and Santa Fe Christian are due up this week.

The Nighthawks escaped against Rancho Bernardo on Wednesday before falling to Mission Hills on Friday to snap their four-game winning streak.
