Lake Highland Prep takes over the top spot in the latest SBLive Florida high school girls basketball rankings.

Previous No. 1 St. Thomas Aquinas lost to DME Academy over the weekend, opening the door for Lake Highland Prep.

SBLive's rankings are compiled by Ross Van De Griek and are released weekly during the 2021-22 season.

The Highlanders are ranked No. 1 in the SBLive Florida girls’ basketball rankings for the first time this season.

This Week: vs Oak Ridge (Wed.), at Florida State University High (Fri.), at Leon (Tallahassee) (Sat.)

The Mustangs remain No. 2 in the SBLive Florida girls’ basketball rankings, despite coming into this week riding a short two-game winning streak.

The Lady Rams remain No. 6 in this week’s rankings, despite being the lone unbeaten team in our Top 15. The Lady Rams will be back in action tonight, as they host Newsome in a District 7A-10 contest.
