Every week during the 2020-2021 boys basketball season, SBLive will rank the Top 10 high school boys basketball teams in the state of Mississippi, regardless of classification.

Here are the SBLive Power 10 boys basketball rankings for Feb. 1, as compiled by SBLive Sports reporter Tyler Cleveland.

Feb. 1, 2021

1. Clinton (15-0)

The top-ranked Arrows made quick work of Warren Central in a 60-32 win Tuesday, then overcame a halftime deficit to beat Murrah 67-46 in Jackson Friday night.

2. Callaway (7-0)

Last week: No. 2

The Chargers don’t have the body of work that most teams have at this point in the season, but they have been perfect in the games they have played. They beat Ridgeland 72-66 in their only game last week.

3. Forest Hill (16-1)

Last week: No. 3

The Patriots were in action twice last week, beating Natchez 102-37 and Provine 69-42. They'll close the regular season at home Tuesday against Yazoo City.

4. Pontotoc (21-3)

Last week: No. 5

The Warriors stayed perfect in 2-4A games with a 67-66 win over Itawamba AHS and a 70-38 victory over Caledonia. They have two games scheduled for this week — at Lafayette and at home against Saltillo — to close out the regular season.

5. Starkville (17-2)

Last week: No. 6

The Yellowjackets took care of business last week with an 86-63 win over Greenwood and a 67-52 victory over Germantown. Tuesday’s game against Columbus is the last one on the regular-season schedule.

The Warriors opened last week with a 44-43 loss to Meridian, but bounced back with lopsided wins over George County and Lumberton. They have one game left against Petal at home Tuesday before the district tournament.

The Indians stayed unbeaten in Region 7-6A with a win over St. Martin last week. They are scheduled to play D’Iberville in the regular-season finale Tuesday night.

8. Raymond (18-3)

The Rangers wiped the floor with South Pike and North Pike last week. They’ve got McComb on the road Tuesday before hosting Lanier in a game that will decide top-seeding for the 6-4A Tournament Friday night.

9. Florence (17-0)

Last week: No. 9

Another week with the same old story for Florence, which ran it’s winning streak to 17 games with a 68-64 overtime win over a good Quitman team and a 77-46 win over Newton County last week. The Eagles can finish the regular season undefeated with district wins over Mendenhall and Northeast Jones this week.
