Here are SBLive’s Class 2B preseason Top 10 high school football rankings for 2020-21. The rankings are compiled by SB Live Washington reporters Todd Milles and Andy Buhler.




1. Napavine

2019 record: 10-2

Tigers have abundance of size, talent, experience - and top-dog confidence in state's toughest league.

2. Kalama

2019 record: 11-3

You don't make it to three consecutive 2B title games by accident - and big-play QB Jackson Esary is back.

3. Onalaska

2019 record: 13-0

Lost 13 seniors from 2019 state championship squad, but triple option still has plenty of juice in tank.

4. Okanogan

2019 record: 5-5 (1A)

Before four-year 1A stint, Bulldogs were kings of 2B (2014, 2015) - and still run Wing-T with power.

5. Forks

2019 record: 4-5 (1A)

Spartans suddenly making waves statewide, and ex-UW lineman Trevor Highfield big reason why.

6. Adna

2019 record: 8-4

Might be a retooling year for yearly playoff contender, but never count out K.C. Johnson's proud group.

7. Colfax

2019 record: 7-3

Mike Morgan loves running the ball, and FB Jacob Brown should feast in recent switch to Pistol Wing-T.

8. Rainier

2019 record: 6-5

Southwest District's next wave of flashy athletes reside here, but can Mountaineers find beef to match?

9. Chewelah

2019 record: 7-5

Cougars lost key pieces (starting quarterback, coach) in the offseason, but still have all-state LB Kaden Krouse.

10. Friday Harbor

2019 record: 9-2

Kyson Jackson leads the way as 2B's top all-purpose, big-play running back, set for big senior season.
