Lakeview girls wrestler Lacy Lemburg voted SBLive’s Nebraska high school athlete of the week

The junior racked up 5,700 votes

Lakeview junior girls wrestler Lacy Lemburg was voted SBLive’s Nebraska High School Athlete of the Week for Jan. 22-28. She totaled 5,700 votes (49.22%). Elgin/Pope basketball player Keyera Eisenhauer was second with 2,956 votes (25.53%). 

Lemburg became a back-to-back tournament champion at the Central Conference Tournament and has won her past 16 since a defeat in early December. She improved to 23-1 with a pin and two close decisions for the 120-pound championship. 

Lemburg has been to state each of the past two years and went over 80 wins for her career.
