Each week during the 2023-24 high school girls basketball season, SBLive Sports will gather the best performances across the country with the help of fans, readers and staff.

Now, it’s your turn to choose a standout among the pack, the best of the best.

Here are the nominees for SBLive’s National High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 25-31. Voting closes on Monday, Jan. 8, at 11:59 (Pacific Time).

SBLive National High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week candidates

Elyn Bowers, jr., Pinedale (Wyoming)

Bowers drilled eight 3-pointers and finished with 39 points as Pinedale routed Evanston, 55-13.

Peyton Bradley, jr., Meade County (Kentucky)

Bradley had 27 points, eight rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks in a 64-51 win over Paintsville.

Rylee Bradley, so., Marina (California)

Bradley scored 33 points — a new career high — as Marina suffered a 52-46 loss to Cypress. The sophomore surpassed the 1,000 career points mark in the game.

Aaliyah Chavez, jr., Monterey (Texas)

Chavez, a five-star junior, erupted for 51 points, 23 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in a 90-47 win over Plainview.

Kat Cheesebro, jr., Dartmouth (Massachusetts)

Cheesebro recorded her 1,000th career point as Dartmouth routed Greater New Bedford, 71-37. The junior finished the game with 24 points.

Sydney Cherney, sr., Reedsburg (Wisconsin)

Cherney had 34 points, 23 rebounds and nine assists in a 68-38 win over La Crosse Central. The Grand Valley State signee scored her 2,000th career point in the victory.

Ariyana Deloney, so., Olympic (Washington)

Deloney shined in a 52-46 loss to Foster, recording 26 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Maddyn Greenway, so., Providence Academy (Minnesota)

Greenway had 26 points, 10 assists, five rebounds and three steals in an 89-54 thrashing of Marshall.

Skylar Herington, fr., Randolph (New York)

Herington had 37 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals in a 78-37 rout of Port Allegany.

Grace Kostohryz, sr., Wooster (Ohio)

Kostohryz piled up 24 points, 28 rebounds — a new Wooster school-record — eight blocks and four steals in a victory over Orrville.

Teagan Mallegni, sr., McFarland (Wisconsin)

Mallegni, a four-star Iowa commit, netted 32 points in a 57-54 win over Sun Prairie West. Just like Sydney Cherney, she eclipsed the 2,000 career points mark during the game.

Jayden McBride, sr., Cathedral Prep (Pennsylvania)

McBride surpassed the 1,000 career points mark in a 60-45 win over Wasilla. The four-star Georgetown signee had 28 points in the victory.

Hannah Mouton, sr., Northwood (Louisiana)

Mouton had 32 points in a 64-57 loss to Arcadia.

Olivia Nickerson, sr., Twin Lakes (Indiana)

Nickerson piled up 31 points, six rebounds and three assists in a 77-50 win over Faith Christian. The senior guard went 6 of 13 from 3-point land to give her 364 career makes from long range, the most in Indiana state history.

Mickie O’Herron, sr., Roanoke Catholic (Virginia)

O’Herron filled up the stat sheet with 38 points, five rebounds, six steals, three assists and three blocks as Roanoke Catholic downed Eastern Montgomery, 52-43.

Maycee Rhoades, jr., Tabiona (Utah)

Rhoades netted 28 points in a 60-40 victory over Wayne.

Zhieyah Rolack, sr., Meadowdale (Ohio)

Rolack came up just short of a triple-double with 31 points, 11 rebounds, eight steals, five blocks and four assists as Meadowdale blew past Hughes, 53-29.

Shay Shippen, jr., Skyview (Idaho)

Shippen dominated with 34 points, 20 rebounds, three assists and three steals as Skyview routed Jordan, 68-36.

Tiara Tucker, sr., Shaw (Georgia)

Tucker dominated at both ends of the court in a 49-39 win over Northside, finishing with 23 points, seven rebounds and six steals.

Doneelah Washington, sr., Lincoln Northeast (Nebraska)

Washington had a double-double in a 56-51 loss to Lincoln Southwest, putting up 28 points and 10 rebounds.
