Each week during the 2023-24 high school girls basketball season, SBLive Sports will gather the best performances across the country with the help of fans, readers and staff.

Now, it’s your turn to choose a standout among the pack, the best of the best.

Here are the nominees for SBLive’s National High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 18-24. Voting closes on Monday, Jan. 1, at 11:59 (Pacific Time).

SBLive National High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week candidates

Kaitlyn Blake, jr., Wheeling Central Catholic (West Virginia)

Blake poured in 30 points and had six rebounds, five assists and a steal in a 95-61 win over Weir.

Shelby Bowman, sr., Biggsville West Central (Illinois)

Bowman had 31 points, three rebounds, two assists and three steals in a 55-54 loss to Macomb.

Leila Carter, so., Columbus International (Ohio)

Carter finished with a triple-double of 30 points, 18 rebounds and 12 steals in a 47-37 victory over Whetstone.

Savannah Davis, sr., McKenzie (Tennessee)

Davis knocked down a Tennessee state record 17 3-pointers as McKenzie defeated Milan, 86-33. The Middle Tennessee State signee finished with 60 points.

Alyssa Ervin, sr., Carroll County (Virginia)

Ervin put up 43 points as Carroll County held on for a 60-56 win over Honaker. The senior guard is committed to Elon.

Layke Fields, jr., Kennedy Catholic (Pennsylvania)

Fields recorded a double-double in a 79-28 rout of Farrell, finishing with a career-high 33 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks.

Aniya Foy, jr., Cinco Ranch (Texas)

Foy, a four-star junior guard, had 26 points, nine rebounds and five steals in a 52-46 victory over Katy.

Grace Galbavy, jr., Perkiomen Valley (Pennsylvania)

Galbavy surpassed the 1,000 career points mark with a 26-point effort against Upper Perkiomen. Perkiomen Valley cruised to a 79-19 win.

Serenity Hardy, so., Winter Haven (Florida)

Hardy had 28 points, three rebounds, two assists and four steals as Winter Haven downed Paul VI, 53-49.

Mallory Heise, jr., Hilton (New York)

Needing 27 points to reach 1,000 for her Hilton career, Heise scored 28 in a 70-45 win over Churchville-Chili.

Cara McKell, so., Valencia (California)

McKell put up 25 points, 12 rebounds and three steals in a 47-30 victory in over Holy Martyrs.

Madison O’Connor, so., Baker (Montana)

O’Connor dropped 37 points as Baker blew past Ekalaka, 77-35.

Addisyn Parker, sr., La Porte (Texas)

Parker had 26 points, seven assists, six steals and four boards as La Porte downed Texas City, 76-33.

Lia Sims, sr., Central (Arizona)

Sims nearly finished with a triple-double in a 61-40 win over Glendale, putting up 37 points, 14 boards, eight steals, three blocks and two assists.

Emilee Skinner, jr., Ridgeline (Utah)

Skinner, a five-star junior point guard, recorded 27 points and nine rebounds as Ridgeline routed Vanden, 61-24.

Kaleena Smith, fr., Ontario Christian (California)

Smith had 26 points, six rebounds and eight assists in a 60-58 win over Mater Dei. Earlier this month, the freshman sensation had a 55-point triple-double where she went 11 of 16 from 3-point range while also recording 10 assists and 10 steals.

Rhian Stokes, sr., Ewing (New Jersey)

Stokes, a St. Joseph’s signee, made six 3-pointers en route to a 27-point night as Ewing routed Allentown, 74-25.

Jordyn Streitmatter, sr., Nauset Regional (Massachusetts)

Streitmatter led the way with 31 points in a 62-49 victory over Monomoy.

Marlee Williams, fr., Frederick (Maryland)

Williams’ 29 points propelled Frederick to a 46-41 win over Linganore.
