Each week during the 2023-24 high school girls basketball season, SBLive Sports will gather the best performances across the country with the help of fans, readers and staff.

Now, it’s your turn to choose a standout among the pack, the best of the best.

Here are the nominees for SBLive’s National High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 11-17. Voting closes on Monday, Dec. 25, at 11:59 (Pacific Time).

SBLive National High School Girls Basketball Player of the Week candidates

Presley Bennett, sr., Minot (North Dakota)

Bennett buried a school-record nine 3-pointers in an 88-37 win over St. Mary’s Central.

Dea Bradley, sr., Hart County (Kentucky)

Bradley exploded for 54 points — a new Hart County single-game record — in a 77-63 victory over Grayson County.

Aaliyah Chavez, jr., Monterey (Texas)

Chavez had her second 50-point game of the season in an 88-54 win over Coronado. The five-star junior finished with 51 points, nine rebounds, two assists and five steals.

Kadynce Couture, jr., Big Sky (Montana)

Couture, an Idaho commit, led the way with 27 points in Big Sky’s 65-25 trouncing of Great Falls.

Maddyn Greenway, so., Providence Academy (Minnesota)

Greenway poured in 40 points, eight rebounds, six assists and seven steals as Providence Academy edged Lakeville North, 78-75.

Jesslynn Jalomo, sr., Laredo United (Texas)

Jalomo had 32 points, five rebounds, six assists and three steals as Laredo United blew past Clemens, 84-67.

Gianna Johnson, sr., George School (Pennsylvania)

Johnson piled up 22 points and 18 rebounds in a 59-34 victory over Pennington.

Abbie Knapp, fr., Green (Ohio)

Knapp led the way with 41 points and 20 rebounds in a 57-37 rout of Eastern. The freshman also had two assists, five steals and five blocks.

Macy Marraccini, jr., Broken Arrow (Oklahoma)

Marraccini filled up the stat sheet with 20 points, five rebounds, four assists and seven steals as Broken Arrow defeated Ponca City, 61-37.

Soraya Ogaldez, jr., North Thurston (Washington)

Ogaldez had 33 points, three assists and five steals in an 85-29 win over River Ridge.

Keeley Parks, jr., Norman (Oklahoma)

Parks, a five-star point guard, had 26 points, six rebounds, five assists and 10 steals in a 62-29 thrashing of Northwest Classen.

Ella Ryan, jr., Brentwood (Tennessee)

Ryan recorded 27 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals as Brentwood took down Coffee County Central in double overtime, 59-52.

Kaleena Smith, fr., Ontario Christian (California)

Smith scored a career-high 55 points in a 136-29 rout of Woodcrest Christian. The freshman also had eight assists and seven steals.

Shayla Smith, jr., Audenried (Pennsylvania)

Smith nearly notched a double-double in a 60-29 win over Carver, finishing with 30 points and nine rebounds.

Willow Thiel, sr., Perham (Minnesota)

Thiel became Perham’s all-time leading scorer with a 28-point effort in a 59-28 win over Hawley.

Blanca Thomas, sr., Charlotte Catholic (North Carolina)

Thomas, a five-star North Carolina signee, had 26 points, seven rebounds, three assists and four blocks as Charlotte Catholic topped Independence in a battle of state championship contenders, 50-48.

Amiah Timothy, sr., Carbon (Utah)

Timothy had 31 points in a 64-34 win over Millard.
