Shooting postpones high school football game in Lumberton, North Carolina

Five teens are arrested in a parking lot incident Friday, and the Lumberton-Red Springs game will resume Saturday with no fans

A parking lot shooting postponed a high school football game Friday night in North Carolina between host Lumberton and Red Springs.

An 18-year-old man and four boys under 18 were arrested in connection with the shooting, but no injuries were reported.

Public Schools of Robeson County posted Friday night on Facebook that the game had been canceled:

But on Saturday the cancellation turned into a postponement, with the game scheduled to resume at 4 p.m. Eastern time Saturday with no fans in attendance and Red Springs leading 7-6 early in the third quarter:

School officials told CBS they're asking anyone with information on the shooting or anyone with a vehicle damaged by gunshots to contact the Lumberton Police Department at 910-671-3846.

Red Springs is 1-2, while Lumberton is 0-2.
