Ridger Palma, Loyola-Sacred Heart boys track and field: Ran a personal record and state best 38.401 seconds to win the 400 meters at the Western B Divisional meet.
Talon Holmquist, Whitefish boys track and field: Won the Western A Divisional shotput title in a state-best throw this spring of 56-10.5, while finishing fourth in the discus at 133-0.
Treyton Anderson, Beaverhead County boys track and field: Won the 300 intermediate hurdles at the Western A Divisional in a state-best time of 48.99 seconds.
Sam Ellis, Glacier boys track and field: Took over the state’s top spot in the 3,200 meters, running a 9:19.39 at the Western A Divisional.
Sebastian Silverstein, Hellgate boys tennis: In just his second season playing tennis, won the Western AA Divisional to earn the tournament’s top seed to the state meet. Dropped just five total games in three matches, and beat Sentinel’s Noah Nelson in the final, 6-1, 6-3.
Ryan Ashley, Capital boys tennis: The sophomore won the Southern Divisional tennis championship for the second straight season, beating Blake Phillippi of Bozeman in the final, 6-4, 6-2.
Kensey May, Hellgate girls track and field: Ran a pair of personal records that also were state-bests this spring at the Western AA Divisional, taking four seconds off her 4:58.80 in the 1,600 meters at the Greg Rice City Meet a week earlier by going 4:54.55, and whipping around the 800 meters in 2:14.24.
Odessa Zentz, Helena girls track and field: Ran a pair of state-bests this spring at the Western AA Divisional, crossing the line in the 800 meters in a tie with May at 2:14.24 and sprinting a personal record 56.53 in the 400 meters.
Hailey Schlenker, Skyview softball: Belted three home runs and had four RBI in a 12-2 softball victory over Bozeman.
Meg McCarty, Bozeman girls tennis: Dropped only a single game (not set) in four matches at the Southern AA Divisional tennis meet to repeat as the event’s champion by beating Qay Kujala of Helena 6-0, 6-0 in the finals.
Kasidy Yeoman, Florence-Carlton softball: Had a big week with seven total hits, a home run and six RBI in two victories.
Kayla Botkin, Frenchtown girls track and field: Won the Western A Divisional title in the discus with a personal record and state-best this season throw of 140-0.5.
