Liberty North's Kennedy Herrig voted SBLive’s Missouri High School Athlete of the Week (1/22/2024)
Congratulations to Liberty North girls basketball player Kennedy Herrig, who was voted the SBLive Missouri High School Athlete of the Week for January 8-14.
She received more than 60 percent of the total votes cast for the week.
Herrig became the all-time leading scorer for the girls program in the Kearney Classic after scoring 10 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in a 48-38 win over Park Hill. She helped the Lady Eagles win the tournament title.
Windsor (Imperial) boys basketball player Noah Barnes finished second in the voting after receiving more than 24 percent of the votes.
